    Is it possible to manage a waitlist with Jotform?

    I should like to be able to accept registrations over the limited admission capacity as well as to send an automatic message to those who would like to be registered but can't :

    ' Your name has been put down on our waitlist as our admission capacity  has currently been reached. In case of a withdrawal, you'll be informed by SEL so that you can complete your registration with us.'

    Hello Michel,

    Unfortunately there is no built in feature to achieve your requirement.

    One possible way to achieve your requirement is to add "Gift Registry" widget in your form. In this widget you will be able to configure the number of submission you want to receive. Once you receive all the submissions, user will be able to see that admission slots are not available. You can then add a condition in your form to display a message to the user that your submission will be accepted in waitlist.

    I limited the number of submissions at 1 for testing the Gift Registry widget more easily, but unfortunately the widget does not work with me.

    An other question : is it possible to change automatically the thank you message when the number of submissions I want to receive is reached, without using the widget ?

    Hi senyon,

    To confirm, the issue that you are having is when you submit one, when the form is opened again, you are still see the "1 left"

    Widget will only work successfully once the JotForm API is inserted. That is how the widget will be able to check your previous submissions to know how much of each item is currently left available when the form is loaded.

    Please go to the Gift Registry Wizard

    Select click here to get API Key

    It will take you to the API section of your account where you can create your API key.

    Once that is created, you would go back to your Form Builder and enter the key into the Gift Registry Wizard.

    Then you can test your form to see if it is working as desired.

    Sorry, I don't succeed. The gift registry widget does not work in my form. The number of item "Quartier Saint-Georges 13-10-2014" does not change. What is wrong in my form ?
