    Email address field on the form as sender email address in Notifier

    Hi,

     

    Is there any way to add - Sender Email Address - "Email Address" ? currently I see only no-reply etc

     

    I want to make - tickets automatically when someone fills form and forward them a ticket. With current setting - sender will never be  - email of the sender.

     

    is there anything that I can ?

    I see you are looking to change out your "sender address".

    This is all apart of your email alerts found on your jotforms under the Setup & Embed Tab at the top toolbar in your formbuilder.

    Please see 25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications and also 26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder to understand the differences as well as a better explanation for each of these.

    In short, basically the Email Notification (Notifier) is sent to your address when you receive a submission whereas the Autoresponder is more intended to send it as a confirmation to the users whom are filling in the data on your jotforms. The tags inside them are based on the fields used and you can add a Sender or Recipient address according to that.

    I think you have misread the original question. I would also like to be able to use the form-filler's email address as the "Sender email address", but it isn't an option. Is there any way to do this?

    I do apologize about my confusion if any. Originally, I thought you meant the sender as the recipient but maybe you meant that you wanted to use the email address of the person whom is filling in the form to have that applied as the "sender email"? Please confirm or correct me if necessary.

    If that is the case then no currently that is not possible. Only your jotform or added senders can be used in that slot if that's what you are asking about.

    Thanks All. OSTicket always use sender's email address for making tickets not reply path. 

    I tried for fresh desk its fine with them tickets can be auto created with it. But its paid and free can't  be branded.

    Adding Mandrill SMTP to your account and form should let you select Email field as the "From Email" address of your form notification email settings. Please kindly follow this guide to have one: https://www.jotform.com/help/240-Set-Email-Field-as-the-Notification-Sender-Email-Address-with-Mandrill.

    After you add Mandrill, you should be able to see a dropdown like this:

    Be sure to select "Email" field. That's it for using Email Address field as the actual sender of the form.

    Exactly what I needed . But Mandril now blocking email in backlogs and account is under review . Hope everything gets sorted out with mandril.

    Great! 

    There should be no other settings. Just register, get your SMTP details and add it to your account/form. I'm not sure about the blocking thing, would you mind sending us a screenshot if there's an error there?
