New Form Designer: Responsive layout not working properly outside of editor

    I have the responsive checkbox enabled and the form looks good in the editor.  However, when I preview the form it appears to have a hard width and is not formatting as it should.

    Hi David,

    Thank you for letting us know. I will notify our developers in regards to this issue.

    In the mean time, you could fix this by injecting this CSS at the bottom of your CSS Styles field:

    div.form-all
    {
       width:300px;
       margin: 0;
    }

    #cid_2 > div.form-buttons-wrapper {
        margin-left: 0 !important;
        text-align: center;
    }
     
    .form-input-wide > input {
        width: 100%;
    }
     
    Our developers will let you know once this issue has been corrected through this thread.

    I added the code, but that didn't help as it hard set the width even wider.  I also notice that the styling for the text boxes and the submit button are now showing a much small text.

    1) So does the responsive checkbox not work?

    2) What is causing the text boxes and submit button to show smaller text in preview when compared to the editor?

    Hi,

    My colleague have opened a ticket to escalate the issue regarding this. We will let you know when an update has been made to resolve this problem.

    For the meantime, have you tried using the "Mobile Responsive" widget? This will automatically adjust the form size depending on the currently used device. Let us know if that one works.

    Hi,

    Upon checking this thread, I can let you know that this ticket has been assigned to one of our developers.

    They will be checking it and will update this thread as soon as they have a fix.

    Is this responsive issue global for all users/forms, or is it just me?

    Right now, we can't tell what's the scope of this issue but I can assure you that our developers will do their best to fix it as soon as possible.
