Information from form and PayPal

    Hi, I have created a jotform with PayPal integration. It seems to be working ok, though I have a question which I hope you can help me on.

     

    When a person fills out the form and presses the "submit" button, I assume that all the information that is asked from is emailed to me. 

     

    1) Is this emailed to me after the PayPal payment is complete? 

     

    2) Is it possible to set this form so that the information is emailed to me before they pay through PayPal? Therefore I will receive the information regardless of if they have finalized the payment on PayPal or not.

    Hi,

    1) Is this emailed to me after the PayPal payment is complete? 

    The Notification Email can also be sent even if payment is NOT completed.

    Check this user guide https://www.jotform.com/help/273-How-to-setup-Incomplete-Payment-Notification-E-mail

    You can set it on the payment tool Pending Payment Email option.

    I think the answer to #2 is also similar to #1.

    Thanks Jonathan for your feedback! It is very much appreciated.

     

    I changed those settings to notification only (and the second option which is notification and auto responders), and it does not seem to work....

     

    Any ideas? Sorry for the newbie question.

    As an update, it works! It just takes a while for the notification to come through (around 20 minutes).

    Hello thaitour,

    I am glad to know that you are receiving the submission email. Do you mean to say that the submission emails comes 20 minutes after the form is submitted? Please be noted that submission emails are sent as soon as the form is submitted. Can you please try to change the email address which is used to receive submission emails to any email address of different domain? See if that solves your problem.
