    Hello

    I have a form that has textboxes and text areas.

    all of them have hints inside the boxes. I want the hint colors to be a light gray.

    When I apply the following code:

    ::-webkit-input-placeholder {

    color: #CDCDCD;}

    :-moz-placeholder {

    color: #CDCDCD;}

    ::-moz-placeholder {

    color: #CDCDCD;}

    :-ms-input-placeholder {

    color: #CDCDCD;}

    The hint colors in the text BOXES become gray which is good, but the hint color in text AREAS stay black, they will not change color. How can I change hint color in text areas?

    Hi Mike,

    Can you please give us a link to the jotform where this is happening, after we take a look we would be able to see exactly what you should add to change it.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hi,

    Please add this custom CSS code in your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/42974174030149

    .form-custom-hint {

    color:  #CDCDCD !important;

    }

    it should change the color of the hint text of TextArea field like this jotform
