    My first custom widget

    Hi, I have some special widgets I need for some forms. So I am playing around with creating my own.

    I log into the developers.jotform.com

    Register the widget ( a copy of your sample one at this stage)

    On registration completion it's status is disabled. I then go to my forms and try to find it in widgets - Not there?

    Do I need to "change Status" of widget before I can see it? Thought this was for publishing it to the world.

     

    The documentation seems to say that i just go to my account and use it.

    The widget you created will need to reviewed first before it can have any bearing.

    Our widget team will handle that posting.

    Hi,

     

    I don't want it "published to the world" I a looking to test custom widgets.

     

    The documentation seems to say I can privately use it immediately after registering.

    Obviously I don't want to publish the one I have registered - it was simply for testing purpuses to see how the process works. Also to see How I can pass parameters to the widget.

     

    Can yyou get the widget team to contact me about how to go about development?

    Is the widget you created published already? I could not find it.

    @dbicioc

    Hi, yes you can immediately use your widget without publishing it. Maybe there was a misunderstanding about the 'my account' thing on the documentation.

    Its easy all you have to do is open your form in the formbuilder and find your widgets on the widgets section. Search your widget and drag and drop it to your form. I saw two widgets attched to your account if I'm not mistaken.
