Jotform error: "This form is currently unavailable"

    Hi,

    We are having a problem where the form loads but when we hit submit we get 'this form is currently unavailable'

    This started to go wrong a couple of hours ago and I can see from the forum that someone else has also reported the same problem.

    Hi Darren

    As Jotform don't seem to be helping us, I have found a solution that may help you. 

    Edit your form - in preferences - limits - delete the 'no limit' in the date expiration field. Now move to another field and Close. Save your form.

    It appears that something has gone wrong with the 'no limit' in date expiration. Simply deleting the entry and saving your form seems to reset it. Working for me at least.

    Hi Darren

    This error suggests that you have disabled your jotform or put a limit on it.

    I took a look at your jotform however and it seems that neither of the two is the issue.

    I would however say that Robin's suggestion might be something to take a look at if it helps resolve the issue.

    Do let us know if that helps or not and we will notify our developers of this.

    Hi Ben / Robin, 

    Firstly cheers Robin the form appears to work with that change, only problem is we have loads for forms! 

    Ben, we haven't changed anything on the forms so it is a little worrying that they can just stop, fortunately Robin has found a work around, but I am concerned about it happening again? I would be grateful if you could pass it to your developers to investigate.

    Darren - yes sadly I had to go through all (about 70) of my forms and repeat the 'fix' - pretty bad but it has worked.

    Hi @jimiking,

    Thank you for notifying us. I am glad that you were able to resolve it by following the same steps.

    I am sorry to hear that some of you had a lot of jotforms to go through, I have already contacted our developers in regards to this and will see if some of them could take a look at this as soon as possible.

    We will update everyone through this thread. Hopefully there will be a way to resolve this without a need for you to go through all of the jotforms.

    I am having the same problem.  I will try this fix but JotFormPro should look into the overall problem, because I made no changes either.

    Hi,

    Our developer has just updated me that it should be working now.

    Can you please test if the jotforms that were affected are OK now and update us here?

    FYI, July 2015 and I just had this problem on one of my forms. I followed the steps above and fixed my one form, it seems to be the only one having problems. The other forms seem to be working fine.
