    Data Grid widget - Bad Gateway error message

    Hello,

    Thank you for this wonderful form building site!

    I have been using the data grid widget for a few months, but from today it only displays a Bad Gateway message. I haven't changed anything in the grid, didn't even touch it recently. Could you please look into this?

    Hi MK Taxi,

    Are you still having problems with the Data Grid? I was able to see the Bad Gateway awhile ago, but right now it seems that it is now live and okay.

     

    I guess this is just a hiccup between the widget and the servers. But I have cleared your form's cache just to be sure. If you happen to get this kind of error any time soon or more often, please feel free to contact us immediately.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the answer.

    I did clear the cache just as it is written but it did not solve the problem. I checked the forms from different computers and browsers (checked with Internet Explorer and Chrome) and they all show the same bad gateway message. 

    Could you please look into this one more time?

    Hello mktaxi,

    I did check your forms and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. The "Data Grid" widget of your forms always displays "502 bad Gateway" error message.

    The issue seems to be caused because of the length of the content you have added in your data grid. I would suggest you to reduce the number of rows you have added and that should solve your problem. Please check the screenshot below:

    Technically, you should limit the content of your data grid widget to 2000 characters. If you need to show more rows, I would suggest you to add one more data grid widget and share the rows between them.

    I shortened my urls that saved a lot of space and now the form displays without no problem.

    Hi, all of the 502 gateway error problems for this widget should be fixed. We recently updated our widget core to support longer options/text for this widget. Please confirm if it works from your end otherwise report back so that we can further investigate the problem.
