    hi to all,

    i have developed a listing for property using the above app and works great with a few extra tricks I have added to.

    do any of the developers know how I can add a filter to this by possibly adding a snippet code against a field called property availability to not list anything that has let agreed or n/a in this field so only properties that are available are viewable on my site

    html is not my strong point or this type of coding but hopefully this can be done

    my my site is called www.ckestates.co.uk which will show what I am trying to achieve

    thank you in advance

    ian

    Hi Ian,

    I took a look at your website and based on what you have mentioned and how it looks I think that this might be possible to do. It would require javascript to check and hide or server side codding not retrieve it.

    I will however contact our developers to see if there is something they can do in regards to this.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hello Ben,

    Thank you for your prompt reply  with some suggestions.

    Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at a possible solution to this issue as yet

    Please accept my apologies for chasing on this its just that this is key for this to filter as described and would greatly appreciate help in solving this due to my client wishing for this to be live by  the beginning of December.

    Any working solution that can be provided would be great

    Kind Regards

    Ian

    Hello Ian,

    Your request needs to be evaluated in terms of its feasibility and it may or may not be approved for development.

    If you need a quick solution, then I suggest that you evaluate using our API to get the submissions from your form and then use Javascript or a web development language such as PHP or ASP to filter this information based on a criteria.

    Best Regards.

    HI, I am afraid your API is a little over my head in how to integrate this - below is the list page that I would like to add filters at the top of the page www.ckestates.co.uk, so that they can filter against Number of bedrooms, Location, rent and property type.

    Feature Request Submission View App: Add the ability to filter the results Image 1 Screenshot 20

    the html behind this is

    <link href="css/bootstrap.min.css" media="screen, projection" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <div class="row-fluid well">

    <div class="span2">Property<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">Image</a>{$main_image}</div>

    <div class="span2">Property ID<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">{$id}</a>{$furnished}</div>

    <div class="span2">Number of bedrooms<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">Summary</a>{$number_of_bedrooms}</div>

    <div class="span2">Location<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">Location</a>{$web_address}</div>

    <div class="span2">Monthly<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">Rent</a>{$rent}</div>

    <div class="span2">Property<a class="container" href="view.php?id={$id}&amp;formId={$form_id}" style="text-decoration:none;">Type</a>{$property_type}</div>

    </div>

    Can anyone help to add filters to this script so that I can copy back into the submission view app to enhance this - this I think would be a great asset to this not only for me but all Jotform users

    Thanks for any help on this

    Kind Regards

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

    Unfortunately we can not provide you any assistance with this, but what I would suggest is to hire a freelancer from oDesk to build this up for you. Someone with programming experience and connecting to API systems would be able to do this for you until our developers do not make this available as a feature.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
