"Email Recipient" selection on autoresponder not working

When I set up my autoresponder for my "Headline" form the only selection for "Email Recipient" is "Email Preference" which is a check box on my form. It does not display "Email" as a selection so I can choose the actual address. Therefore my autoresponder is not working. I tried changing the label on my checkbox to "Contact Preference" thinking that I was confusing the system by using the word "Email". That did not work. In the "Email Recipient" section it just displayed "Contact Preference" as my only choice instead. Can you please tell me how to fix this problem. Thank you.

    Hi,

The reason why you are experiencing this is because there is no field that matches the requirements. Do note that the widget you are using for email is not intended for that purpose, but instead to confirm if 2 fields (of any type) are same or not.

You could instead of that add a hidden email field that gets the email passed to it through conditions from the E-mail Validator widget.

This way the email will get passed to the field only after the email was verified by the user and then added to the autoresponder.

You can see it in action here: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43143586434961

You can also clone it to your account by following the steps here: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

    Best Regards,
