How to set condition for 2 sets of radio button images

Hi there - I have 2 sets of "radio button" options of images from which our users can select and want to restrict their selection to "one" from one set or the other but not "one" from both. How do I program that condition? Or is that possible. 

We can hide the other widget field if one of them is filled based on conditional logic. Please see the following animation:
