Is it possible to add a sales tax and delivery charge field to a purchase order (no payment gateway) form?

Asked by stevelack on September 25, 2011 at 02:24 AM

I am setting up a site for a restaurant and adding menu items to a form.  All the items ordered are being added to the total properly.  Is there a way to take the total and add sales tax and a delivery charge and have that total display?

    Hello stevelack,

It is not yet possible to add a sales tax and/or a delivery change option on your purchase order forms.  But if the amount is fixed for these charges, you can add them as a product.

But before you actually make this happen, you will have to place the source code of your form on your web page (unlike the usual iframe embedding and script embedding way).  This is because you will have to mark your tax and delivery charges as permanently selected (and possibly have the checkbox hidden).

If you need further assistance regarding this matter, please do let us know.  We'll be glad to share with you more information.

    Warm regards,

    Liyam
