How do I insert today's date?

    I just want to display today's date on the form...

    Thanks for asking. The easiest way to include the current date in a form using just the form builder, is to insert a DateTime field from the Power Tools menu. However, its value can be edited by users and I suspect you don't want that. There are many scripts (like this one) available to display the current time but since our Free Text (HTML) fields don't allow for the inclusion of scripts, you will need to embed the full source of the form into a web page of your own and include the script at the location in which you wish it to appear. If the page contains other scripts, to avoid conflicts it may be best to store the script in a separate JavaScript file and then link to it from within the form. (The page referred to states that in the file you don't need to include the script tags but it is actually imperative that you don't!)
