    Hello Katy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you want to add the Image Picker widget to your form and the image they choose will be on the PDF copy of their response. Yes, this is possible.

There is two PDF copy of their response that is generated when using the Smart PDF Builder. The first one is the Original PDF copy with the user's response and the second one is the PDF copy of the Online Form created out of the Original PDF. This is who it should display if you add the widget on the form.

This is the PDF copy of the Original PDF with the user response.

This is also the PDF copy of the user response that was generated out of the online form.

    To add the Image Picker widget;

    1. Go to the Smart PDF builder page.
    2. Click on the Add Form Element.
    3. Click on the Widgets tab.
    4. Click on the Image Picker to add.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that it's not possible to add the widget to the Original PDF. You can add additional Basic fields but the Widget elements don't give the option to map it to the Original PDF. But we can send a feature request for this.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Here's how to adjust the size of the image on the Image Picker.

    1. Click on the Image Picker to select.
    2. Click on the Wand icon.
    3. Click on the General tab.
    4. Under Image Size, change the height and width.1669847065 6387d8193de59 6387d8193de18 Screenshot 10

I am looking to change the size here. When I change the size in the place you suggested, it doesn't seem to change the size here.

    Hi Katy,

Thank you for getting back to us. If you upload an image with a larger size, it will appear in a larger size in your PDF. The size you submitted to the Image Picker Widget on the Form Builder determines the size of the image or Image Picker Widget that shows on your PDF.

I tried changing the size of the image I uploaded. I even double checked I had uploaded it to the correct size I wanted by adding the image separately (see screen shot below). But the image in the image picker field just wont get bigger. I resubmitted the form several times.

    Hello Katy,

Thanks for getting back to us. I tried it on my end and the image adjusted to the size of the Image Picker in the PDF Editor. Check out the screenshot below to see my result:

I am using a 800x800 pixels image. You can also try this image using this link.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I still cant get the image picker Image to go across the whole top of the page like a header. I have tried saving my file in every which way I can think of in various sizes and formats. I saved the image straight from a word doc where is was set up and sized just the way I want and it still only fills half the form page.

My end goal is to have a different header at the top based on top based on the users selection. I have no idea what I can be doing wrong. I am very frustrated, I have been trying for days.

When I used your JOT image it was ok, but its only 800x800 so it still only filled half the page.

    Hello mampurchasing,

Thanks for patiently waiting. I double-checked the photo size in your form, and it appears to be 4397 x 800, and my colleagues shared a Jotform photo size of 800 x 800. Also, I notice that your photo is in landscape orientation, and if you drag the photo, it will only increase the width. If you want to increase the size of your photo, as my colleagues suggested, I recommend comparing the photo size as you resize it.

Check out the difference in size between the photos below:

    4397 x 800

    800 x 800

Additionally, you must produce several emails and employ conditional logic to deliver them in response to user selection.

That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.
