Backslashes disappearing from text on formAsked by prostraining on November 25, 2014 at 02:31 PM
I am using a form to request specific files from my users. I describe the filepath in a text element. When I view the form it removes all the backslashes from the text element, making my filepaths unreadable.
I have tried using the entity code for a slash (\) and I have tried editing the html of the text element and putting it in there.
How do I get backslashes to display properly in my text box?
Thank you for contacting us.
Please try to add two backslashes instead of one. This way, one backslash should work as an escape character.
