    Submit Button Issue - Embed Script Has Changed

    I am having an issue with the "Submit" button.  It just hangs until it times out, then we get a page not found error.  I noticed that the "embed" script url is different.  It now has a type="text/javascript" in the path.

    When I embed the above in the source code it seems to work, but I get the "security" warning.

    Please let me know what is going on.

    I figured out how to make it secure, now I just want to know why we have to add the type="test/javascript" in the path.  Now I have to go to some of my forms and change the script so they will work.

    I was just notified that the forms are not working again.  Just hangs, then gets the following error.


    Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    Hi medwards,

    I did a test submission on one of your forms however I was not able to replicate the said error. Upon hitting the submit button I was redirected to the url for successful submissions.

    Does the problem still happens on your end if this is the case, can you send us the specific form or page url where we can test out the problem?

    We are not having this issue this morning. 

    However, updates made to forms are not showing on this form: https://secure.jotform.com/form/12565811083

    I deleted the "Submit" button and replaced it with a "Submit Form" button.  That was one of the suggestion on the forum to fix the hanging issue.

    Also notifications are not being sent on this form:

    I really need your help to fix these issues.  My users are getting frustrated, as is myself with all the issues we have had the past couple of weeks.

    Hello medwards,

    As I have replied to the other post that you commented on, please try changing the secure url form from secure.jotform.com to www.jotform.com

    For your email concern, can you try using noreply@jotform.com as your email address and see if it would send properly to your inbox?
