Duplicating all fields with in a LONG form at once

Asked by bschwartz215 on September 26, 2011 at 11:51 PM

I have created a LONG form with MANY conditons. I would like to duplicate ALL of the fields with ALL of the conditions at one time and insert them at the end of this form so everything can be done mroe than once.  Is this possible?  The form can be seen here http://www.jotform.com/form/12684221582 and is not even complete yet.  Please respond as soon as possible.

    Thanks,

    Hi bschwatrz215

Copying multiple form fields at once is not possible. You can dublicate each field one by one. But it is possible to clone an existing form. As i see you want two identical forms on the same page. After you are finished with your form, you can clone it and via iframe you can put them both on the same page. You can find more informations under '' How to Clone an Existing Form ''.

Please embed your forms via iframe to show your forms correctly.

Go to Setup & Embed > Embed Form > Iframe.

Hopefully you find this information useful.

    Kindest Regards

I am not sure I follow you.  So could I use this process to duplicate my entire form and have the same form below my current form within JotForm not on a website.  Can you elaborate in more detail?

    Thanks,

    Brett

    Hello Brett,

It is possible to clone the entire form using the Clone an Existing Form feature. With this feature you can get a copy of the form. Clonned form will appear as a separate form in your JotForm account, under My Forms section.

If you would like to duplicate several elements at once within your form, unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment.  However, this feature is already in "TO-DO" list of JotForm. There is no any ETA for when this feature will be implemented, but JotForm developers are working hard to do it as soon as possible.

I hope this information willl be helpful for you. If there is some misunderstanding or something is not clear, please feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
    Mike

UPDATE: This has now been implemented.  Select any field, click on the cog, then 'Manage Fields'.  Select the fields you would like to duplicate and then click duplicate.
