Hi,
Is it possible to integrate in your Paypal Api's the following parameters, as given by PayPal support:
solution_type=Sole
landing_page=BillingOur obejctives is when redirected to PayPal site by JotForm we enter directly in the option payement without PayPal account.
Theses details can be seen on site www.paypal.com/mts
I want to use this option as in France I cannot use the "PayPal Pro" API options which allow to pay directly with a Credit Card without entering the PayPal site.
Here attached PayPal Pro error when trying to pay directly with Credit Card, which according to PayPal support is not provided for France.
Thanks for your help and support.
Regards,
Georges

Hi Shadae,
My customer usually do not have PayPal account and will not be wishing to create one only for paying 10€, but we are using on the market side a paypal account because based on the number of transactions we will be having we considered PayPal solution as the less costly for us.
So we want our payment to go trough PayPal site but opting directly for the option "Paying without Paypal Account" and that is where paypal support told su that in the API we would need the parameters:
solution_type=Sole
landing_page=BillingThe solution you proposed using only PayPal is requring a PayPal account for the customer to pay and this want we want to avoid.
Regards,
Georges

Hi Shadae,
I checked the PayPal Express API and I think it could answer our requirements assuming you can pass the folowing parameters o the API:
solution_type=Sole
landing_page=BillingIs there any way I can do iy by myself?
If not how long would it take to get this feature enabled.You will find here attached a screen capture of the Paypal options I want to enter:
Which woul lead to the following screen

Hi Georges,
Your customers have the option to Pay without creating an account. They just need to select Pay with Debit or Credit Card when being redirected to the Paypal Payment Page:
In the screenshot, you'll see that saving information or creating an account to Paypal is optional. Your customers can just pay without creating an account.
Thank you!

Hi Melvin,
I know that my customer can do it as you mentionned but I want to avoid him being lost in an extra screen and according to PayPal technical support if within the API we pass these 2 parameters:
solution_type=Sole
landing_page=Billing
they would be directed directly toward payment screen without PayPal account.This is important as we can easily lose a customer here in France where PayPal is not widespread.
Thanks for your understandings.
Georges

Hi Welvin,
Thanks for considering my request.
Iin the modification of the API set-up you might consider as well the possibility to pass over to PayPal form some valuable data already entered on the JotForm side such as:
first_name
last_name
billing coordinates
The sending or not would be selected at end-user JotForm design API set-up as for conditionals set-up.If I had been able to use PayPal pro I was passing over this information to credit carf form of the APPI using php variables.
Best Regards,

Hi Georges,
I see that my colleague has already escalated this to our developers and technical team. We will take note of the additional API modification that you have mentioned. Please do take note that we're unable to provide an exact date to when this will be considered or implemented, but rest assure that our developers are already aware of this.
Thank you.
