Unique Question: Ability to show the validation error message before clicking submit

Shadi DarzeidanAsked on December 21, 2022 at 10:09 PMHello, to follow up on Toni's question, we are having the same issue of someone not knowing the form title is not unique until they hit submit, and going back wipes all their responses. Is there a way to check whether a response is unique before clicking submit, without taking them to a new page?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. The validation error of the unique question only appears after hitting submit. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we'll circle back to this thread and let you know.
In the meantime, you may consider using the workaround provided by my colleague in this thread.
