Self hosted Jotform form submitting to suddenly

    Our self hosted jotform forms all suddenly started putting as the action URL on all of our forms. We have done nothing on the server that we are aware of that could have caused this sudden change. I'm not sure if Jotform pulls in files from another location, and perhaps some code on a remote server has changed.

    I have also submitted an email to jotform support and am waiting for a response. If there is any way you can shed light on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. I have many time sensitive projects that I'm working on right now that require form functionality that I no longer have on our site.

    Dear Chris,

    I have just cloned your form with using our My Forms -> New Form -> Import Form -> From a Web page , 

    It seems everything is OK at this side, could you please try this way to solve your problem ?

    Our Jotform is self hosted - it should be submitting to, not to I'm not sure why the action URL's on all of our forms suddenly changed when we are hosting the application on our own server. It is working when cloned to your site because the form then exists on the same server that it is submitting to.

    I'm not even sure how to update the action URL's in my forms... are there instructions somewhere on how I can do this? I don't see anything in the application settings. I think my problem may be a little different since we payed to self-host the form on our servers.

    Thanks Albert. I sent my request to, which is the email address I was dealing with back in August for some installation help. Is that still valid, or should I use the interlogy address instead? I haven't heard anything back yet, and I sent it yesterday. It's urgent that I get this figured out right away.

    Hi Chris,

    It should be fixed now. In order to see the fix you should re-save problematic forms.

    Thank you for taking care of this. Was this a problem with some updates to files that are hosted on your side? Is there any way we can avoid this happening in the future? We intend on creating many forms within the Jotform application for students, faculty and staff, and it would be a crisis situation for us if this were to happen again.

    Jotform requires a software called "V8" for the form creation on the server. It's listed as a requirement on Jotform application read me file.

    If V8 is missing on your side, Jotform tries to get the form source from our servers. You can choose this option if you're unable to install V8 or do not have the permissions, and it will work just fine, but it will make you dependent on, hence you will be affected by any problems or downtimes, if our servers go through such stuff.

    In order to overcome this issue I suggest you to install V8 by following our instructions about this.
