How to change background color of JotForm

Hi, i'll want to know why, when i insert html code about background color is not work.

You can change the JotForm background color by following this step when in the Form Builder.

1. Click on Form Style

2. Click Background button

3. In color picker window, add the code for color white ().

This should change the background color of the form.

Looks a bit like the old Jotform to me...
With the new "designer", I can't find a way to change the form background colour... I'd like it to be transparent, but it stays black...

Occasionally there is a background added by a theme or something of that nature.  This can usually be changed more easily in the form builder rather than the designer.  The background on the JotForm can be made transparent by changing the background color option to Transparent in Form properties.

Are these people even looking before they give you the answer!!!  We figured it out after about 40 minutes...

1.) Click the "Preferences" Icon on the top right.

2.) Once in preferences click the blue hyperlink in the bottom left that says "Form Styles."

3.) From there you can adjust everything.  

@John: This is an old thread and the answers given by my colleagues are correct. The new layout is not yet available to all users before so that's why it's different for the original poster.
