Why doesnt Jotform have coupon codes or passwords yet?

Asked by SoulPhiya on October 01, 2011 at 12:45 AM

Over a year and a half ago I asked about coupon codes or passwords.  Everytime I ask, you guys say your working on it and its "coming soon"

Can you please tell me when "soon" is??  I just really need this for my business and wish you would offer it right away!!!

    Thanks,

    Hi SoulPhiya,

We're really sorry for making you wait this long. Unfortunately, it is really hard to tell the exact delivery date of these features in JotForm because of unforeseen or unplanned events that need our team's attention. But rest assured that these are already in the pipe line of things to do.

In the meantime, depending on the payment gateway that you're using, you can use your payment gateway's own promotion code feature. Google Checkout has its own built-in promotion or coupon code feature that you can use. For the password protection, you may use the workaround presented in this thread for now: http://www.jotform.com/answers/21374-How-can-I-password-protect-a-form.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you and enjoy using JotForm!

    Cheers,
    Allan

    Hi LeyStefan,

In the Payment Tool, you can display the dollar amount of the total purchase by activating the "Show Total" button in the toolbar. Please see below:

If you have other questions or concerns not related to the topic, please create a new thread so that other users can search our support forum more efficiently. Thank you for your cooperation.
