Getting near the submissions limit - what to do?

Asked by creativeservicesCRF on December 16, 2014 at 05:13 AM

    Hi Jotform,

I have a Paid Account with you, and one of our Promotions is doing so well beyond our expectation
    - this Promotions is running whole of December - the entries it has reached so far is 5195

Our account limit is 10270 and we are on 9538
I think our next reset is date is on 18th and I now that this Promotions entries are receiving roughly 400-500 entries per day - we have 3 days left for our reset and we have 700 entries left.

Can you please advice of what can be done, please?

When the limit is over what will happen with the over flow of entries:

will this be stored until our reset day... once the submissions limit is reset will the overflow of entries appear?

or will the entries will be completely wiped?

    Please advice

    Kind regards

    Hi Wing,

The rest happens on every first of the month, no matter the billing date. This means that once you get to the limit, the jotforms would be showing that your account is over limit until 1st of January.

You could however upgrade for one month to a new plan (Professional Monthly) instead of the current one.

If you try to upgrade your account it will take you to FastSprings instead where you can create a new monthly subscription.

Once this happens you can just let us know as soon as you want to switch back to Economy plan and we would change the subscription for you.

Once you do this, the subscription over BlueSnap would be cancelled.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

But can you confirm once the limit is up and we haven't sorted the upgrade - are the over limit entries retrievable?

    Will need this answered ASAP

    Hi Wing.

Once the limit is met the system will show that your account is over limit. The jotform would be hidden from further entry, so no one would be able to create the submission.

In order to not loose any submissions, you could let us know and we could lower your count by few extra submissions while you go through the billing, but the process to upgrade takes only a few seconds so that would be a more recommended approach.

Do let us know if that answers your question or if you have any new questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
