Disabled form warning message is not showing in our website

How can I have a message appear once a form has been disabled?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you would like to know how to add message after you disable your form. I'll be glad to assist you with that. I created a screenscast for you to check on how to add message to your disable form.

1. Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Then clcik Form Settings and select form status.
3. Change it to disable.
4. Then on the Warning message, you can add your message alert.

Thanks, I've done all that but the message isn't showing up when I go to
the form on our website. It's just blank. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I replied yesterday with our website URL and the Jotform in question.
We continue to have the same problem of no message posted when people try
to register.

Thanks for getting back to us. I understand how upsetting this is. I’m going to do my best to resolve it for you. Unfortunately, we didn't received any form URL and your website link, can you resend it again so that we can further check it for you.

For the meantime can you please remove the form from your website, then add a message once the form is disabled, and then embed it again if you embedded it?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Thanks for getting back to us. Please replace your jotform Embed code with an iFrame version. It will display the form warning on your web page. You may look into our guide on Getting the Form Iframe Code.
