Would it be preferable to use a link to the form URL?

From a website user perspective, would it be better to simply provide a button with a link to the form URL rather than trying to embed the form into the website, and possibly suffer load time and mobile responsive issues?

    Hi,

    These are good questions.

In regards to the jotform load time

Both jotform embedded on your website and the one opened directly will open in the same amount of time.

The only difference is that there are styles and images on your own website that would need to load next to it, which would require a user to wait a bit longer to see entire website with a jotform on it.

On the other hand, your visitors would wait less time if the jotform would be loaded on your website instead of waiting for your website to fully load to then be able to click on a link and wait until the jotform is opened as well.

If all this is taken into account, I would say that it is better to embed it as they are looking at the website content while everything is loaded for them, offering them a better experience and not require them to make an additional step to get to the jotform.

Now in regards to the mobile responsiveness

We have many options to create a mobile responsive jotform. The same as it would change on the direct link would be how it would change on a website as long as your website is mobile responsive - telling the jotform where and how much space it should take and it will follow it.

I would suggest taking a look at the Mobile Responsive widget.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
