    How do I update my Credit card info?

    I would like to use a different credit card.  How do I do this?

    Hi David,

    Since you're paying using your credit card, you have to modify your credit card details through our 3rd party payment processor Plimus. Your Plimus username is the long string of numbers from the original plimus email you received when you paid for your JotForm account. Please do not use your JotForm username and password when logging in to the Plimus website. In case you forgot your Plimus password, please reset your password here or visit their Customer Support page.

    1) We went to Plimus and added new credit card data

    2) We got this error:

    Transaction Failed: Please use a different payment card

    3) We checked card and it is accurate data.

    Please advise.

    is it possible that the credit card you're trying to enter isn't activated or is not supported by Plimus?

    Here is a list of credit cards accepted by Plimus:

    Visa
    Master Card
    American Express
    Discover
    JCB
    Carte Bleue

    What I would suggest is please contact Plimus regarding that error to see what's wrong with the card.  If I'm not mistaken, there is a support link after you have logged in.

    Hello JotForm,

    Plimus has a very odd and inefficient system.  Instead of allowing a simple change of credit cards, Plimus sets up new cards as if there is going to be an immediate charge.  They ding our card for $.10 to set up the card.  It is called an authorization hold.

    As it turns out, my card will not accept anything less than a $1.00 authorization hold.  So, a change of cards through Plimus will not work.

    This is the first time I have ever experienced this having several subscription services online.

    Plimus suggested that I start a new JotForm account.  Does this mean I lose all the forms that I created in the existing account?

    Hi David,

    For now the solution I can suggest is to cancel/downgrade your account and then resubscribe using the new credit card info. The downgrade is not instantaneous since the account will still remain Premium until the paid period expires so you can re subscribe using a new card anytime before the end of your billing period.

    To cancel/downgrade the account login to your JotForm account then go to Account Settings from there you will see the Cancel button.

    David,

    There is absolutely no way that you'll lose your forms and data. Cancelling the paid subscription will only lower down your submission limits to that of a free account. Your forms will not be affected in any way.

    Once you are finished downgrading, you may opt to maximize the unused days and just re-subscribe before the account downgrades.
