Can I Create a test form with a movie clip in it?

Asked by camptejas on October 05, 2011 at 09:47 AM

I need to give a short test to my clients based on a short video clip. is it possible to 1. put a link to a video on my form and 2. create a form that has correct/incorrect answers that is automatically graded at the end when you hit submit? this way I could have the end page (the page you are brought to after hitting submit) coule be a certificate of completion. Any info whould help. thanks a bunch

    1. Yes, you probably could embed a video into your form with the embed HTML tool. It may not be straightforward depending on where the video is hosted but i am sure we could find you some kind of solution.

    2. Unfortunately, this type of functionality is not available on JotForm yet. It definately would be a very useful feature that would help broaden our user base. But, its on a long list of feature requests, and with the developers always striving to make JotForm as solid & as robust a platform as possible, its pointless us promising specific dates as regards when a feature is going become available. All i can ask is for you to be patient & keep telling us what features you like to see on JotForm.

One possible way which may at least help automate a part of using a JotForm form as a test, would be to import your submissions CSV into EXCEL with some kind of formulas set up to 'mark' the tests.

Hope that helps, please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
