How do I keep someone from finishing the form if they answer a check box incorrectly?

Asked by jonathanpiechnik on January 06, 2015 at 05:51 PM

Hi, I have a check box with the choice of "yes" or "no". If the person chooses "yes," they may continue through the form. If they answer "no," I want them to be notified that they may not continue unless the answer is yes. The issue I'm having is I don't know how to keep them from continuing through the form and I don't know how to notify them that their answer keeps them from continuing. How can I do this?

    Hi Jonathanpiechnik,

This can be achieved by using conditional logic on your form to hide the remaining fields and the submit button on your form.

You can use the Hide/Show field to show the fields and the submit button when "Yes" is selected on your desired question.

You can view a sample form at this link: http://www.jotform.com/form/50057152054950 you can clone the form to your account if you would like.

I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
