Updates dont show up on embeded form on my website.

Asked by benklempner on October 07, 2011 at 03:27 PM

    Hello,

I had to update my one of my forms. The direct jotform link to the form shows the updated form right away as soon as I save the updated. But the embeded form on my website (I used the source code to embed it) still shows the old form. You can see this when you go to the "About Your Brand" section. The old showed the file uploader whereas the new one hides it unless you opt to upload files. Please help!!

No this did not work, the sections still go into hiding. I will have to play arround with this later on until it works as I have to leave for meetings now. For now I just placed in a scrollbar so that clients can still sign up properly.

Thank you kindly  for all your help with this I really appreciate it!

    Hello benklempner,

First, if you have used the source code to embed your form. You will have to manually update it again by getting the new code from your form editor and pasting it again on your web page, everytime you change something on your form.

You can try using yasinco's script embed code, but if this does not work, then your choice would be the HTML source code again.  Just get the new source code and place it on your page and you're done! :)

If you have other questions or concerns, please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Liyam

    Yasin & Liyam,

Thank you for all your help with this. Unfortunately it still did not work. So, I had to remove the page collapse option and replace it with the page break feature. I am using just the source code and it seems to be updating changes instantly.

    Best,

    Ben!

Just don't forget that everytime you make some changes on your form, you will have to get a new source code to put it on your web page.

    Warm regards,

    Liyam
