Hi,
Is it possible to set xcel format default to .xls and not .xlsx for users with Office2003.
Thanks,
Georges

Hi Georges,
You can only download the reports "as they are". There is no option to change the extension (and their format).
What I would suggest instead is to download csv file report instead.
It is the same thing as Excel file, only has simpler formatting options allowing many more programs and applications to use it (open, edit, save, print).
Once you download it just double click on it and it should start opening Excel, or if not, then select to open with Excel.
Best Regards,

Hi Georges,
Oh, OK. I am not sure, but I think that I have seen that our developers were looking it, but do not take me for granted. If you are willing could you please try downloading the same submissions that were giving you the issue before and try to see if they are still causing the same issues?
If you are still experiencing issues with that I would raise it to our developers to inspect.
I have just checked to see if it would be possible to download the xls file if the xlsx was uploaded through Google SpreadSheet, but it seems that it is not possible.
The only thing that comes to mind is to:
1. install the xlsx Office Converters for Office 2003 by Microsoft
2. Use online conversion tools:
http://www.zamzar.com/convert/xlsx-to-xls/
http://www.convertfiles.com/convert/document/XLSX-to-XLS.html
http://www.freefileconvert.com/
Hope this helps
Best Regards,
Ben
