I have the data being captured into a Google sheet but to my horror the information captured from the configuration list widget is all mashed into on field in my Google sheet. I need the data in the configuration list to be in its own column in Google sheets or excel etc. Is there a way to do this with using CSS or another means (besides manually)?

I do apologize, there is currently no option to separate the information in the configurable list widget, when being sent to Google Spreadsheets or to Excel.
If you use our Grid Report, the information will be separated by columns.
You can use commas as a separator to make columns within Excel
Go to the Data tab and select text to columns under data tools then select delimiters and hit next. Then select comma as the delimiter and hit finish
