I tried to import a Grid Report and a Table Report into Excel, but both generate an error message.
Somehow it works anyway, but I'm not sure what consequences the errors have.
I tried with 3 different forms (which have different content), but the errors comes with all.

Hi,
Why you would you do the import process if you can generate an Excel file our from your form submissions? Did you do it for a purpose? If not, generate and excel report instead:
http://www.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel
or, you can also have one as CSV: http://www.jotform.com/help/103-How-to-create-a-CSV-Report.
Thanks

I did it because it is very easy to update it. Just one click and new submissions are loaded.
If I download the excel file, I have to copy and paste it to the working file (where I process the form registrations).
So this way is extreme smooth.

I'm not sure of the real cause, but allow me to forward this thread to our developers. I have just tried it here and saw the same error.
For now, you may consider the following options:
a. Use our Reports to Cloud App: http://apps.jotform.com/app/reports_to_cloud. This is forwarding your excel report to your Dropbox folder.
b. Integrating your form to Google Spreadsheet: http://www.jotform.com/help/228-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Google-Spreadsheet and process your form registrations there.
Thanks
