Hello JotForm Crew!
I am trying to create a simple form so that parents can register one or more children for a special event.
This event happens at 4 specific dates and each date has 24 spots available. From previous years we know that parents will register multiple children (siblings) for a date (so using submission restriction won't work because 1 submission could have multiple individuals on it). So I have tried using "Appointment Slots" and "Inventory" - but I can't get either of those to work with the "Calculation Wizard" (am I wrong that PayPal custom payments only works with Calculation Wizard?)
I would also like the form to calculate the total number of students registered (example 2) and then send that to paypal so they can pay the required fee (2 students x$30 = $60).
I have been working with the Calculation Wizard, put when I ask paypal to collect Custom payment amounts, it lets the individual decide the fee number, so there is no guarantee they will input $30.Does this all make sense? Essentially I am looking for a simple solution to to multiple registrations attached with a fee, showing the remaining spots/inventory so we don't over-book.
I shared the form with you to help you understand - right now I have multiple widgets in place - I realize some will have to change/be deleted - this is just me trying to figure things out!
Any help would be appreciated.THANKS!

Hi,
You can easily achieve this using the Inventory Widget.
Check it here http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/inventory
The widget have both inventory and payment option as well, so it should fits your requirement.
Here is demo jotform you can try http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41882856448974?
Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
Thank you.

Hello again -
I guess I am just confused on how to use inventory then.
I currently have the Inventory Widget on my form, but don't see a place to add payment or prices or a grand total. The example shows that I can input how many of a product I want and then auto calculates a total at the bottom.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Hello again -
I think I got it!I wasn't able to clone your form (perhaps because of the 'pro' designation). But I was able to follow your steps. The weird thing is I can't see the auto calculation while I am working in the "edit form" mode, but when I go to the URL (now http://www.jotform.us/franconia/KMS) and pretend to be a parent filling out the registration, it works like a charm, and redirects me to Paypal with the correct dollar amount!
Super helpful - THANKS! -
