Feature Request: Integration to Adobe Forms Central To Move or Copy Forms to JotForm

Asked by Chris Davis  on January 22, 2015 at 08:47 AM

I have a job application that I use with Adobe FormsCentral. That service is ending in July and I would like to use the application as we have developed it without starting from scratch.

    Thank You.

    Hi Chris,

We're having a lot of request from users on Adobe Forms Central regarding if they can move or copy the forms there to us. We currently do not have an app integration yet, but due to the number of requests, I believe our developers will take action on this sooner. It is not possible to create an integration because we have a couple of apps that do that.

For the meantime, if you are new here in JotForm, I would suggest that you check our Frequently Asked Questions page. We have a lot of comprehensive guides that our users can use, these are the following: Complete List of GuidesJotForm YouTube Channel, and the Forum.

We also have a lot of great apps and widgets that you can use. The latest that JotForm has now is the Theme Store and the Form Designer that let's you create great looking forms, from basic to advance designs adding up the ability to create conditions on it.

I hope that helps. We'll let you know here in this thread if we get news about the integration to Adobe Forms Central.

    Thank you.

Our developers have started on the import tool and you can see its progress here: http://www.jotform.com/formscentral/

It is not completely finished, but you will be able to see the first samples of it in action on that page and we will update you as the import tool gets improved through this thread and that page.

This is excellent news Ben so pleased that the clever boys & girls at JotForm are quickly providing a solution to the Adobe Forms Central shutdown.

I created my first form in JotForm yesterday & it took me many many hours to get use to the design interface and I was not looking forward to repeating that process for a further 40 forms

I clicked on the link that you provided it seemed to be an easy process and I got a message saying that the file I imported will be checked manually and will appear in the forms list in 1 to 2 days.

I'm happy I have until July to sort this out and things are looking up

    Thank You JotForm

In common with many others I have built over 50 forms (not all running) in Formscentral and the fact that the JotForm techs are working on an app to import Formscentral forms into JotForm is tremendous news for me.

A question, however, that immediately springs to mind is whether the import will pick up Formscentral forms with conditional logic enabled as, in these cases, many fields are hidden when a form is opened by an end user?

Would it be wiser (simpler?) to disable the conditional fields (in Formscentral this is as simple as 'unticking' a box in each conditional element) before importing the form into JotForm and then re-enabling the conditional fields in JotForm after the import is complete?

I really hope that I can import with the conditional logic as this would make life so much easier

We are currently building tools to make the whole process easy in a single swap. You will just enter your username and password and we will transfer your forms and the data on your forms automatically. Would you like to be a beta tester for this FormsCentral migration tool?

If you do please let us know your FormsCentral username and password? Send them to aytekin@jotform.com please.
