Verify submission through clickable link

Hi, I have a similar question - I too need to verify the submissions are coming from specific emails. I set my form up with a confirmation email hoping that I could put a link in their so that they clicked the link which would then send me another email coming from their email address which would be sufficient confirmation for me. I suppose I could just have them reply to the email itself, but a clickable link would be cleaner and more professional. I tried the verifier suggested but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

Please let us know in which form you are trying to implement this so we can analyse better this matter.

In order to have your users verifying the email you can setup a first form where you ask for the email and then add this form to the submission verifier app:

Then you can create the second form, that users will fill in after verifying the email. And you edit the confirmation message, adding the 2nd form url:

    Click Generate Link.

Now it is time to add the confirmation link to the auto-responder:

You can test and clone the demo form:

Thanks for the detailed answer. I can only follow half of it though. I set up my form (admin order sign off) and have an auto responder email set up through verifier. So the person submitting gets an email confirmation, so far so good. Now all I really want is them to reply to the email to confirm their email address. If I generate another form, it seems I am repeating the process all over.

Unfortunately, that's currently not possible. You should probably just verify the email address before the user can submit the form. Just add this widget to your form instead of the existing email question:

Thanks for the help. I think the email validator will be useful. Only issue left is to figure out how to make sure that field contains at least our domain in the email field so they can't set the email to a personal email. I played around and I can see how to start to set such a condition, but the only thing it really can be applied against that would be meaningful is the submit button, or to generate an error if the field does not contain the right domain. I don't see either of those as options that can be conditionally set.

I think I figured it out by using show/hide condition. Seems to be working now.
