If you would like to get submission notification for pending payments, it is recommended that you enable this in your PayPal account. Please follow the instructions below on how to get this done.
I hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if further support is needed.

The problem is not related to the setting because I have already done that before posting my question.
I have been using jot forms and the notification has been working fine until recently.
Please advise what I have to do to get this fixed.

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
I have cloned your form and tested it sever times without settling the payment. I will continue my tests further and get back to you with my findings.

I am hoping to find a solution for my problem through reviewing the forum. I found that there are others who are experiencing the same problem that I have. Unfortunately, the responses I found was not encouraging. There seems to be a bug in the system and nobody seems to know how to fix this so far. In fact, one thread was posted in Oct 2014 and the supporting staff said he reported it but never got back to the client with a solution. I have been a jot form user for a couple of years and I recently paid for my subscription. I will be very disappointed if this bug doesn't get fixed.
Please take a serious look at this issue and provide all your clients a solution to this.

I did few test and it seems you are right, the "Pending Payment Email" feature does not seems to work. I did not received any pending payment emails.
Let me report it to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

Hello Mei Yin,
Pending emails are sent after 30 mins. Can you confirm that until now you have not yet received the pending payment email?
- dmichaelsAnswered on February 08, 2015 at 04:15 PM
I am having the same problem.
I submitted a form today at 1:30pm, abandon it at the PayPal page.
As of 4:10pm there has been no E-mail received.
This is the form:
The 30 minute delay would be fine (fantastic even!), but alas, I receive nothing.
This really does need to be looked at ASAP.

I don't understand. I followed your link and I don't see a resolution there. If you're pointing me to the answer you wrote about setting the PayPal field properties, I've already done that, but no E-mail is sent/received.

My colleague have just moved your question to a new thread so that we can address your issue separately.
There seems to be a glitch where the submission emails are not being sent successfully for pending payments. This is already reported to our back end and one of our developer is already already looking into this issue.
We will report this issue again to our back end team in your own thread so that we can address your issue separately.

I found the problem and have just fixed it. Your pending emails should have now landed to your inbox (including past submissions). Also, you'll be receiving your pending payment emails for the next submissions you receive.
If this problem persists, please do let us know.
