Can you use a customer's email address (existing from a column within the XLS file) to be their “Unique Code”?? My concern with generating any kind of other unique code is that other who use the form may be prone to “guess” unique codes and thereby obtain another organizations data on all their customers.

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can use your predefined customer email addresses as Unique Code. Let me show you how:

    • You need to have an Excel sheet including your customers' addresses and the other details that will be auto-filled.

Note: The column names on your Excel sheet should match the field labels on your form.

    • Click on Add Form Element, then go to the Widgets tab, and chose Spreadsheet to Form widget.
    • Upload your Excel file then chose the Access Code Column as Email.
    • Scroll down and click on Update Widget to confirm the changes.
