Is it possible to pre-populate form fields with previous submission data?

I've selected "no check" for unique submissions to enable our form to be used multiple times. However is there a way for the form to remember and auto-populate certain areas of the form, i.e. contact info while still having the ability to place a different order for the products we offer?

    Hello pthimsen,

However is there a way for the form to remember and auto-populate certain areas of the form

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that you want to pre-populate your form fields with the data from previous submissions?

Though you can take advantage of our URL parameter feature to pre-populate your form fields but unfortunately it is not possible to populate form with previous submission data.

    Hope this answers your query.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

Hi there - when I go to the link in the suggestion above it appears that in order to have only certain fields retain info from use to use of the same form, we would have to code each individual field with the specific info - this doesn't really work with multiple users accessing the same form multiple times for different campaigns.

I know there is an "engaged" option under the properties options that we can turn on and off, but when it is on, it does not clear the form of anything that was entered before.

Our form is Rainmaker Campaign Wizard and is comprised of many pages that are specific to certain campaigns. The campaign info will change from use to use but the first page which is the contact info will mostly remain the same for individual users. We would like the form to auto-populate as they start to enter their contact info for greater ease of use.

Am I misunderstanding available options or am I correct that it is an "all" or "nothing" scenario? Please confirm. Thank you

PS Form again is Rainmaker Campaign Wizard

Based on what you're mentioning you can accomplish this using prepopulated fields by URL as mentioned by my colleague, but the key here would be that you need to have a unique URL for each user.

You can use this app: http://prepopulate.jotform.io/ to help you to create each URL.

    Hope this helps.

Let us know if this could be a viable solution for you.
    Thank you.

Will this work for a scholarship application form with multiple scholarships to choose from (it is a Google Form currently)?  I want students to be able to enter all their personal, biographical info just once then be able to select a scholarship from a drop down list, write a paragraph specific to that scholarship, then submit and redo the process for as many scholarships as they choose.
