Need to cancel Jotform

    Firstly I would like to say that I think your service is amazing. I need to leave because I used your forms for a student book sale which has now finished and therefore we have no need for the forms (until next year).

    I need to cancel my account but the link in account settings is not working correctly with the paypal page saying the subscription link is 'invalid'. How do I cancel the account?

    Also, if I cancel the account and , like I said, want to use the forms again next year, will I be able to sign in again, pay for premium hosting and continue to to use the forms I have used in the past.

    Hello Adam,

    Thank you for contacting us. Let me please inform you that you can cancel your subscription by logging in to your PayPal account and canceling your subscription there. Here are the steps to cancel via PayPal:

    1. Log into your PayPal account
    2. Find the latest payment you made to us
    3. Click on your subscription number
    4. Click on "Cancel Subscription" button.

    When you cancel your subscription you will not be charged again, but your account will stay Premium until the time you have paid for expires.

    Please note that account cancellation is just switching your account from Premium to Free, your account content will be completely safe. You will be able to switch back to Premium and then back to Free anytime you want.

    To piggyback on cardiffbooks' question, I only want to use my form for 9 months to year and so I am looking at upgrading to the yearlong premium account. The problem is, I'm concerned that I am going to forget to cancel the account/recurring payment in a year's time.

    From your [JotForm Support / Mike_T] answer above, it seems to me that I could upgrade to a yearlong premium account and cancel the next day, and still have the premium account for a year [that I am looking for] as well as remove the recurring payment.  Is that correct?

    PS I too love this service. I'm incredibly impressed by JotForm! I simply want to make sure I understand the policy! :)

    Yes, you are correct, cancelling does not mean downgrading, when you cancel a subscription you just stop the recurring charges and the account will downgrade until the period you paid for expires.
