Feature Request: We would like to prevent sub users from deleting submissions

Is there a way to create a sub user account that has limits - for instance, we don;t want our sub users to be able to delete submissions. Is this possible?

You can only choose between 2 options for your sub users currently. These 2 options are Edit Forms and Edit and View Submissions. Sorry to say but there is no option available that can restrict a user user from deleting submissions currently. However I will pass this information on to our development team so that can look into its implementation. Once this feature is available you will be notified via this thread. We will be in touch.

JotForm needs to seriously correct this. This isn't a matter of an "option". This renders the entire Submission Feature useless. If a sub-user can edit or delete a Submission, then it is unreliable.

ALMDT_IT, please open a new thread if you wish to discuss the feature, or make your own feature request.

As a possible workaround, you can choose not to share submissions with your sub account, and then generate a downloadable report with submissions data. Share the link to the report, rather than sharing direct access to your submissions.

Your sub accounts will then be able to download and view the submitted data in any format that you have chosen to set up your report in, and they will be unable to edit your submission data that is stored under your account.

So, on the shared form(s), disallow "View Submissions" and then follow the instructions at the link above for publishing viewable(not editable) submissions.

Yes, you can disallow Sub-users from viewing your submissions directly from their account and just give them the link to the submissions page in which they will need to enter a password first before they will be allowed to view the submissions. When they've logged in successfully, there will be no option for them to edit or delete submissions. Let us know how it works for you and if you need any further assistance. kindly let us know.
