How is the data stored when SSL submissions are enabled?Asked by Eric Ginder on February 21, 2015 at 06:03 PM
If I use the SSL forms, is the data stored in the database in encrypted form?
I'd like to understand exactly at what point the user input is encrypted and decrypted. Is it possible that unencrypted data is transmitted over the internet or stored on the server?
When you use SSL submissions in your form what is encrypted is the connection between our servers and your computer to prevent the access for unauthorized people to read the information that is being sent in the form.
Once the data has reached our servers it's kept unencrypted this is why we don't allow capturing sensitive information, since if your account credentials are compromised in any way the captured data would be visible to the person that has access to it.

Hope this helps.
