Is there any way to set a max character limit on a field?

Hello. Is there any way to set a max character limit on a field? For example, I have a number field where I want a max of 6 digits allowed.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It is possible to set a character limit for fields by using the long text field. Let me walk you through:

1. In Form builder, click Add Form Element on the left side of the page.
2. Under Basic Elements, select Long text.
3. Click the Gear icon to open Properties.
4. In Long Text Properties, click on Options.
5. Set Entry Limits to ON, set character limit type to Letters and set 1 as minimum and 6 as maximum.
6. Set Validation to Numeric.
