How can we allow someone to re-submit their form after accidental submission?

    One of our users accidentally submitted their form prior to finishing the application the whole way. Our form is over 60 questions, so we would like to restore the form without losing any of the content. We would like him to be able to complete the form and resubmit. Is this possible?

    Yes Christina, that is possible.

    The way to do that is to give them the edit link.

    The issue here is that they already made the submission, so you need to create the edit link for them.

    To do that you should:

    1. have form ID - will make reference to this as {id}
    2. submission ID - will make reference to this as {sid}

    Now to create a link:

    http://submit.jotform.com/form.php?mode=edit&formID={id}&sid={sid}

    What you should note is that the bold part of the URL above must be the same as the domain used in the direct link for your jotform.

    For example, if it is jotform.us then your edit link must be http://submit.jotform.us/form...

    This is a sample of edit submission link: http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=50485345322957&sid=300095896832724637&mode=edit

    Do let us know if you are not sure how to build it or have any questions and we would be happy to assist.
