Dynamic "From" field by default in the Notification Configuration

    Last April in a reply to "emailbroadcast," "aytekin" mentioned the possibility of restoring the ability of trusted, long-time users to set the "from" email dynamically. Has this been considered further? Please help!

    When you say that you would like the from email to be dynamic, I take it that you would like for the Email field in the form to be set as the option for Sender's Email in the notification configuration? 

    This is indeed possible but only through Mandril. I will be doing some additional checks on this and respond to you soon.

    For you to have a dynamic "From" field in the Notification settings, your Email would have to be configured with Mandril to facilitate this feature, like I mentioned in my initial post.

    Just to confirm, is it a case that you would like to map an Email field in the form as the Sender's Email in the notification settings? With this method all notifications will be sent with the form user's email rather than the any of your personal or Jotform emails in the list.


    Is it a case that you would like to attach a conditional statement to determine which of the auto responder notifications will be sent? For example, if you have 3 different notifications configured - each having a different email address assigned to the Sender's Email field. Would you like to set a condition based on selections made in the form to determine which of emails the auto responder would be sent to from? 

    If Linda is responsible for all customers who inquiry about Making loan payments and Bob is response for handling customer who Make pension payments, would you like a condition to be used to send an auto response from Bob's email address if the payment type selected on the form was Pension? That way when the customer responses it goes to Bob instead of Linda?
