PDF form fields not fillableAsked by WillCo on February 27, 2015 at 07:38 AM
We've created PDF versions of all our forms but the following types of fields are not editable;
- Text Fields where we have added hints are not editable
- Drop down boxes
- Date fields
- Radio buttons
- Check boxes
Could you please let us know if there is any way to make these fields editable or work around this?
Unfortunately, the forms are not fully fillable as PDF, the main product of JotForm is a web form builder, the forms are then hosted in our servers and available to be filled out online or via web. You can, however, create a PDF version of the form, here's our guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-Create-a-PDF-Form.
I would suggest that you changed the fields that are not fillable to plain text fields, radio buttons and check boxes. You can then use Adobe Reader to fill them out.
I hope this helps.
