I'm putting together an assessment where I'm using letters as the 'value' for answers chosen. Is there a formula that can count the number of times the "a" answer was chosen and deliver it as a number?
The assessment is set up in a "which one of these answers do you agree with most?" style where two answers are given to select from. Behind the scenes I have given the answers a calculation value as a letter.
When answers are submitted, I want to show those that took the assessment how many times they picked a certain 'kind' of answer. "a" answers would be "easy going", "b" answers "planner", etc.

Hi,
I assume you are putting up a quiz form? If that is correct, you can try using this app page: http://www.jotform.com/help/289-Turn-your-form-into-a-Quiz-or-Exam-.
If you want to count the specific choices that one made, unfortunately, I there's not direct feature for that. But, I'll try to look at a workaround and let you know if my test were successful.
Thank you.
