I manage a website for a non-profit.  I am trying to create a form to collect some registration info, which also includes credit card payment.  I have a couple of questions

Does jotform store our users credit card information on their site?

What is the guarantee that our users information is safe and not sold to other companies.  Is there an option for me to go it and delete any information from jotform site once my campaign is complete?  Are you certified by Authorize.net in for secure financial information handling?

    Thanks

    Hi Srini,

I'm sorry, but we do not allow forms that would capture credit card information using our basic input fields. We consider it as phishing which is against our Terms of Use. Our system filter will automatically suspend your account if you will create a form like this.

In you want to collect a payment, you will have to integrate your form to our Payment Integrations. We have Authorize.net, you can setup to capture payment at a later date in the integration:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

In our payment integration, the payments are handled by the provider. If you will use Authorize.net, authorize.net will process the payment instead of Jotform.

For collecting payments using our payment integrations, you will have to make sure that SSL is enabled to your form: http://www.jotform.com/help/63-How-can-I-receive-SSL-Submissions to avoid security errors/warnings when submitting the form.

Thank you and let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards
