Adding Auto Responder with submission update link

I set up the Auto Responder email but don't understand how it works

I went into the form and filled some of it out and then hit submit,. It thanked me but I don't understand how you can go back in a finish the form 

Also on one test it would not let me submit the form if I had required fields.

Do I not submit so I can then go back in ... Help I need this done by Friday

Looks like you have already found the {edit_link} option, so you form users will be able to use it in order to update their submitted entries.

Note, that the form can additionally save filled data with an Auto fill option.
