Calculations Fields not showing "Calculations"

I have several fields where a child's name is suppose to input into fields further down in the form.  However, I am having problems with the calculations fields showing the information.  At first the last 4 children's information showed up correctly, but not the 1st child.  Now, I am not seeing any of them.  The calculations fields are under video/photo permissions, Medical Release/Liability Waiver and the final Thank You page. I am at a loss as to what the issue is.  I have tripled checked the input information and all seems to be correct. Any help would be appreciated.  

I think I figured out how to make it work.  I unchecked "wait for input before including the field in calculation".  Can anyone explain why this made a difference on this type of calculation? Just wanting to know what happened in case I have this problem again.

I inspected the form and it seems that this situation is solved now. If not please let us know the fields that are presenting difficulties.

The difficulty you report is usually associated with typing letters without changing the field in the calculation into numbers:. You can achieve that by clicking in the red square:

Unchecking the "Wait for input..." option usually only prevents the result to show while user is still typing. 

I believe that while trying to solve this, you clicked to change the field types into numbers and this is why it is working now.
