Can we integrate to some cloud storage and have all files sent to and linked to there?

    Hi..!

    I'm loving the plugins!!

    Question 1 ---

I was wondering if there was a way to use Dropbox as opposed to JotForm for file storage (uploads)?  In other words, instead of using the 10-Gigs that come with the PREMIUM account I'd like to use Dropbox instead. Is that possible?

    Question 2 ---

I synced up with Google Spreadsheets and it worked lovely but I noticed that the attachment is linking back to JotForm... (as asked above), is there a way to push these uploads over to my DropBox and show a DropBox link instead?   Example Image Link:  http://www.jotform.com/uploads/pressloop/50635076423149/301421394157268189/gap_main.jpg

    Thanks so much!

We usually can not reply to multiple questions at on the same thread, but seeing how these two are very closely related I will reply to both on this thread.

I was wondering if there was a way to use Dropbox as opposed to JotForm for file storage (uploads)?

    Yes. No. - Both.

    Let me explain.

You can use DropBox and store the uploaded files there, for your own record, hence the yes. Now taking in account the second question, I would need to answer No instead. The reason for this is that while you would make a file on some other system like DropBox, Box, Google Drive, etc all submissions will link to the files on our servers.

The reason why this is so is because you can not guarantee anything if the file is on some other server - server of some other company, so we make all links point to locations that we can control to make sure that no issues occur.

So to answer both questions at the same time, the answer would be No, but you can still use any of those services to upload the data on some other location as well and in time as you remove the data in submissions you will have a full backup on your side.

Hope this helps, but please do let us know if you have any further questions and we would be happy to assist.
